I just wanted to thank you so much for the extra pink WaterBoony hat that you sent with my order. The medium did work well for me, but, the large has been put to GREAT use from the many friends and relatives that have come to Florida to visit and go kayaking with me.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the WaterBoony. I am a volunteer for US Fish & Wildlife's Manatee Watch here in Crystal River, Florida. In addition, I am a guide for kayak tours. My WaterBoony has been so awesome this summer -- keeping me cool even on the hottest days. I get so many compliments on my WaterBoony and then I get to take it off and explain what it is!!!! I hope I am generating future customers for you :) My husband had also ordered a WB to be worn while mowing. As Missouri enters its second month of a sweltering, smothering heat wave, my Water Boony has become a daily addition to my wardrobe. If not for the Boony, I would have spent the past few weeks indoors instead of enjoying the summer with my grandkids. This is a great hat and really good at keeping you cool when it's extremely hot outside.

I ordered one for my husband and myself to wear during a fishing tournament in 100 degree heat. When it started to dry, we just dipped it in the water and threw it back on. As the water starts evaporating, it keeps your face and head cool. I love it.

The sizes do run small though. My husband and I both have small heads and according to the measurements, we should both have worn smalls. They were sold out and we ordered large and hoped they fit and they did! Order at least 1 size larger than what your hat measurement indicates on the chart. Remember - you don't want it super tight on your head!

Overall, a great hat. I would definitely order it again. My husband was just recovering from a heat stroke when we ordered this hat. He will definitely be wearing it in the heat when he fishes or works.

There is much you should be proud of in your development of the Waterboony hat. As a lifelong resident of the Southeastern U.S., and Florida for 34 of those 40 years, I greet the arrival of each summer with the unhappy realization that my time outdoors is going to be hot and sweaty. As someone who perspires a great deal, it's not a question of whether or not I will be wearing a hat, but rather what type of hat is going to catch the sweat while also protecting my scalp, nose and ears from the sun's rays.

It was a happy coincidence that my wife found your website while we were online searching for a boonie hats which would help protect my head from the sun. After looking through your website and seeing your unique approach to keeping the head cool while also protecting it from the sun, I was intrigued and bought one of your Deluxe Waterboony hats.

A few days after it arrived, I took the hat with me to a boating trip in Crystal River, Florida. It was hot enough that it only took me a few minutes of being in the sun to pull out my new Waterboony, dunk it in the spring's water, shake it off and put it on my head. The cooling effect on my head was instantaneous and lasted much longer than I would have expected. My Waterboony only needed to be doused with water about once an hour for me to stay cool throughout the day. I confirmed this cooling effect the next day while working outside in the yard. I wore my hat all day, and by occasionally spraying it with the hose, I had no trouble keeping my head cooler than I would have been able to with a regular hat.

Title: Body:This item was perfect for what I needed in the hot summer months . Just to let you know the hats run VERY Small . I bought an XL and a L and the XL barely fits my head and I have a normal size head. I need to send the Large back.
But maybe on the site you could put sizes run small, and hopefully you will get bigger ones . I wanted to buy three more for my brothers and I cant as they have larger heads and these two would never fit them .
Over all the item is a great idea and hope mine works out, but for the price, The sizes need to be accurate.

Hi John,

I have been telling everyone about this great product. It has made a difference in my life to be able to go outside and stay cool. I am dealing with heat and sun sensitivity, and this hat is just awesome. I am going to order one for my brother this morning whom works in the construction industry as a paver. We all know how hot working on the tar truck must be, and that is why I had tell my brother about it.

I would like to make a suggestion John that might open up other doors for this product. In my brothers outfit, the crew wear mint green shirts. I've also noticed that this color along with the flourescent orange are colors of outdoor contruction. I believe that these two colors should be added to your list of color options.

My brother will also be telling his crew about the waterboony after he recieves his.
